Green Box packaging by PinProof

Briefly |

The Green Box is a 72-hour survival kit developed with civil-protection specialists and people with real crisis experience. It contains essential items for emergencies, reduces fear and increases preparedness. The packaging had to become part of the survival system itself, not just hold it.

The kit is designed to reduce fear

DESIGN CHALLENGE

The box had to hold 15 diverse and sometimes heavy items, survive transport and storage, unfold into a usable resting or protective surface, and stay within efficient production constraints. Balancing strength, size, material efficiency and a secondary function required both structural and creative precision.

Chapter 2 |

CONCEPT & SMART STRUCTURE

The package is designed to become one of the survival essentials. Once unfolded, it creates a protective mat for sitting, resting, blocking cold or damp ground, and can also act as a temporary surface or windbreak. Reinforced corrugated board carries the load, an optimized dieline creates a large usable area, and the flat-unfold design needs no additional parts.

USER EXPERIENCE & INFORMATION DESIGN

Critical information is printed directly into the structure: first-aid steps, psychological support and practical survival advice. Clear instructions on each individual sleeve reduce uncertainty when people operate under stress.

Chapter 4 |

IMPACT

By combining storage, information and physical utility, the Green Box acts as emergency infrastructure. It reduces the need for extra objects while increasing preparedness and usability. A visible green Keaykolour sleeve with neon screen print signals readiness; the raw corrugated structure remains honest, durable and recyclable.
